Privacy Policy

RIC Soccer Coach and the Ric Soccer website are operated by RIC'S ATHLETICS LLC (“RIC'S ATHLETICS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when parents or guardians use the RIC Soccer Coach mobile application (“App”), our website, and related coaching services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
Access to the App is limited to authorized users. We may collect an email address and account authentication information needed to create, authenticate, approve, and maintain an account. Password authentication is handled through our authentication service provider; we do not use account information for third-party advertising.
Parent, Guardian, and Player Information
A parent or guardian may provide information needed to manage participating players and coaching services, such as a player's name and information associated with the parent or guardian's account. The App is intended to be managed by the parent or guardian rather than requiring a child to create a separate account.
Training Activity and Preferences
The App may store information about training activity, including completed training items, progress, favorites, assigned weekly challenges, and the active player selected within the account.
Session Requests and Coaching Communications
When a parent or guardian requests a coaching session, we may collect information such as the requested date and time, player name, notes supplied with the request, request status, and coaching-related replies or scheduling updates.
Agreements and Consent Records
When required for participation, we may maintain records showing that a parent or guardian reviewed and accepted applicable agreements, releases, policies, or consent forms. These records may include the typed signature name, acceptance status, document or policy version, and date/time of acceptance.
Notifications and Device Information
If notifications are enabled, the App may process a device messaging token so we can deliver operational notifications, such as session-request updates, assigned training challenges, and important service information. Notification permissions can be changed through device settings.
2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
We do not intentionally collect precise location data, device contact lists, biometric data, payment-card or banking information through the App, or advertising identifiers for behavioral advertising. We do not use the App to track users across unrelated apps or websites for advertising.
3. How We Use Information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- authenticate and administer authorized accounts;
- manage players associated with a parent or guardian account;
- provide soccer training content, assignments, progress features, and favorites;
- process and communicate about coaching-session requests;
- maintain required agreements and consent records;
- send operational push notifications;
- protect the security and integrity of the Services; and
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve functionality.
We do not sell personal information and do not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.
4. Service Providers
We use third-party technology providers to operate the Services. In particular, the App uses Google Firebase services for functions such as authentication, database storage, file storage, cloud functions, hosting, app-integrity protection, and push messaging. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
At the time of this policy, we do not intentionally use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app behavioral tracking technologies in the App. If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and make any disclosures or obtain permissions required by law or platform rules.
6. Children's Privacy
RIC Soccer provides youth soccer training services, but App accounts are intended to be created and managed by parents or guardians. Parents and guardians may provide limited information about participating players so that we can deliver coaching and training features.
We do not knowingly use children's personal information for advertising or behavioral tracking. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have received information about a child that should not be retained, contact us at coach@ricsoccer.com so we can review the request and take appropriate action.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and participation records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of record.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet-connected service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Requests
Parents and guardians may control push-notification permissions through device settings and may contact us for assistance with account information or to request account deletion. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping, or dispute-resolution purposes.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services or practices change. The current version will display its effective or last-updated date. When appropriate, we may also provide notice through the App or another reasonable method.
