Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the RIC Soccer Coach mobile application, the Ric Soccer website, and related digital services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are operated by RIC'S ATHLETICS LLC (“RIC'S ATHLETICS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services in connection with a minor player, you represent that you are the player's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to act on the player's behalf as applicable.
1. Purpose of the Services
RIC Soccer provides soccer-training resources and tools supporting coaching relationships. Features may include instructional content, player profiles, training progress, favorites, weekly challenges, coaching-session requests, notifications, forms, agreements, and related communications.
2. Accounts and Access
App access may be limited to invited or approved users. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for activity occurring through your account. You may not share access in a way that defeats account restrictions or permits unauthorized use.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising a minor player's use of training content and for information entered about players associated with their account.
3. Training and Safety
Soccer and physical training involve inherent risks, including the possibility of injury. Training content provided through the Services is educational and instructional in nature and is not medical advice or a substitute for professional medical evaluation.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a player is able to participate safely, providing appropriate supervision, ensuring a reasonably safe training environment, and seeking qualified medical advice when appropriate. Any separate waiver, medical release, participation agreement, or consent accepted in connection with coaching services remains subject to its own terms.
4. Coaching Session Requests
A session request submitted through the App is a request and does not guarantee a confirmed appointment. Requests may be approved, denied, or proposed for a different time. A session is confirmed only when the applicable confirmation is communicated through the Services or another authorized communication method.
5. Electronic Agreements and Signatures
Certain features may require a parent or guardian to review and electronically accept agreements, releases, policies, or consent forms. By typing a name or otherwise completing an electronic acceptance process, you intend that action to serve as your electronic acknowledgement or signature to the extent described in the applicable document and permitted by law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or restricted content;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Services;
- use automated methods to scrape, copy, extract, or abuse content or data;
- upload, transmit, or introduce malicious code or harmful material;
- misrepresent your identity or authority to act for a player; or
- use the Services in violation of applicable law or the rights of others.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Services and their original training materials, videos, graphics, branding, text, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to RIC'S ATHLETICS LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
We grant authorized users a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access the Services and training content for their intended personal training use. Content may not be reproduced, redistributed, sold, publicly displayed, republished, or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.
8. Third-Party Services
The Services may rely on third-party technology providers for hosting, authentication, messaging, storage, media delivery, or other functionality. Availability of some features may therefore depend on third-party systems. Third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We may maintain, modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Services. We do not guarantee that every feature will be continuously available or error-free.
10. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, respond to misuse or security concerns, enforce these Terms or other applicable agreements, or comply with legal obligations. You may stop using the Services at any time and may contact us regarding account deletion.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the digital Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that digital content will be free from every error or technical issue.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Separate coaching agreements, waivers, releases, or consent documents may contain additional terms applicable to in-person training or participation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RIC'S ATHLETICS LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of or inability to use the digital Services. Any limitation applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of information in connection with the Services is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. The current version will display its effective or last-updated date. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
